Notice on the RMUC 2024 Final Robot Assessment (For Hong Kong&Macau&Taiwan&overseas Teams)

Participants: Teams from Hong Kong, Macau and overseas that have passed the RMUC 2024 Mid-term Progress Assessment can participate in this sesssion.
Participation: Participants should participate as a team and log into the registration system with the Captain’s account.
Submission Time: 18:00 p.m. June 10, 2024 - 18:00 p.m. June 12, 2024 (Beijing Time)
Submission Opportunity: Once
Passing Criteria: All teams will be ranked according to their scores. A certain proportion of the top-ranked teams will pass this sesssion.
Assessment Requirements: Refer to the "Final Robot Assessment" chapter of the ”RMU 2024 Participant Manual“.
1.Final Robot Presentation: With reference to the “RMU 2024 Progress Assessment Criteria”, submit a video to show the progress of each robot. The criteria is for reference only. If a robot is designed with extra functions that are not listed in the criteria, extra scores will be given accordingly. Therefore please present as much the progress that you’ve already made as possible. To prevent the repeated use of the video and the resulting discrepancy between the displayed progress and the actual situation, each participating team is requested to choose one of the following methods to shoot and submit supporting materials according to the actual situation. For clips/submissions that do not comply with this requirement, the maximum score for the corresponding content can only be 50% of the full score.
a. Click here to download the armor drawing for technical assessment. Print the file and post it on the robot armor module or its reserved installation position. For robots that do not have armor modules, such as Aerial Robot, please use method b to shoot videos.
b. Click here to download the background board for technical assessment. During the video shooting process, print the file in A3 size, use a full-screen mode of the notebook or other physical methods to clearly display the background board throughout the shooting. Post-compositing is prohibited.
When finishing video shooting, download the "RMUC 2024 Final Robot Assessment Progress Presentation Template" , and insert the corresponding video clips according to the title on each page. Finally, splice all the sections, upload the complete video and submit the link.
2.Techincal Proposal: With reference to the "RMUC Technical Proposal Template“, submit a PDF document to provide detailed descriptions of the most technically advanced robot of your team. The full score of this section is 100.
3.Cost Report: With reference to the "RMUC Cost Report Template“, submit a PDF document. The full score of this section is 40.
4.Expenditure Record: With reference to the "RMUC Expenditure Record Template“, submit a Excel document. The full score of this section is 30.
5.Robot BOM: With reference to the "RMUC Robot BOM Template“, submit a Excel document. The full score of this section is 30.
Submission Requirements:
1.Video: 1) Resolution higher than 720p; 2) Subtitles or commentaries included to explain each process; 3) Only display relevant content, well-paced and no longer then 5 minutes; 4) Upload the video to YouTube and provide the video link
2.PPT: 1) Source Han Serif (Chinese) or Times New Roman (English), 24 pt; 2) No larger than 400M; 3) Naming format: School+Final Robot Presentation
3.PDF: 1) Source Han Serif (Chinese) or Times New Roman (English), 12 pt; 2) Line spacing: 1.5
4.Excel: 1) Source Han Serif (Chinese) or Times New Roman (English), 11 pt; 2) automatic line wrapping, automatic adjustment of row height and column width; 3) unless necessary, keep all text vertically centered, and align horizontally to the left or to the center
Rights for passing the Final Robot Assessment:
1. Eligible to borrowing a full set of referee system and participating in the Competition Feedback
2.A team's scores of the “Project Documents” and “Technical Proposal” of the Final Robot Assessment will impact its initial Gold Coin quantity for each round during the Regional Competition.
