Notice on RoboMaster 2025 University Championship Mid-term Progress Assessment (For international teams)

Eligible Participants: All overseas and Hong Kong/Macau/Taiwan teams that have passed the 2025 season planning.

Submission Method: Submit as a team via the questionnaire filled by the team captain: [CLICK HERE].

Submission Period: April 7, 2025, 18:00 – April 9, 2025, 18:00 (Beijing Time)

Submission Opportunity: Only 1 submission attempt allowed.

Passing Criteria:

1、Project documentation must achieve a rating of "C" or higher.

2、Overseas and Hong Kong/Macau/Taiwan teams will be evaluated under the same standards as mainland Chinese teams. A limited number of top-performing teams (based on total mid-term assessment scores) will pass.

Note: Mid-term progress assessment requirements differ from the Participant Manual. Refer to the Appendix of this announcement for official criteria.

Assessment Content

(Requirements differ from the Participant Manual; the following prevails.)

1、Mid-term Progress Presentation

Record video materials following the order specified in RoboMaster 2025 University Series Technical Progress Assessment Criteria to showcase the actual progress of each robot type (e.g., Infantry, Hero, Sentry).

Scoring Note: Completing functions beyond those listed in the guidelines will earn extra points. Maximize your demonstration of progress.

Anti-plagiarism measures: To prevent reused video materials misrepresenting progress, teams must choose ONE of the following methods during filming:

a. [CLICK HERE] Download the armor diagram specialized for technical assessment, print and attach it to the robot’s armor plate or reserved installation position. Exception: Aerial robots without armor plates may adopt method b.

b. [CLICK HERE] Download the background board specialized for technical assessment, display it clearly throughout the video (via A3 print, full-screen laptop, or physical board). No post-production synthesis allowed.

Refer to  the RMUC Mid-Term Progress Assessment Video Shooting Requirement ([CLICK HERE]) to shoot the video sequences in the specified order. After recording all video materials, edit them into a complete video following the template sequence and submit the video link.

Submit an Excel document using the RoboMaster Series Season Planning Template ([CLICK HERE]).

4、Project Documents

Submit a PDF document using the RoboMaster 2025 University Championship Mid-term Progress Report Template ([CLICK HERE]).

1、PDF Format:

Body text: Source Han Serif (Simplified Chinese) or Times New Roman (English), size 12.

Line spacing: 1.5x fixed.

Filename: School Name + Team Name + Section Name.

2、Excel Format:

Body text: Source Han Serif (Simplified Chinese) or Times New Roman (English), size 11.

Enable automatic line breaks, row height/column width adjustment.Align text vertically centered; horizontal alignment left or centered unless specified.

Filename: RMUC 2025 + School Name + Team Name + Mid-term Assessment.

3、Video Format:

Resolution: >720p.

Include subtitles or captions explaining each process.

Focus on concise, relevant content.

Benefits for Passing Teams:

1、Eligibility to borrow one set each of Infantry, Hero, and Sentry Referee Systems. Exception: Teams participating in RMUL 3V3 matches will not receive additional systems.

2、Permission to participate in the Referee System Exam (usage).

3、Access to discounted products as specified in the RoboMaster 2025 University Championship Participant Manual and Material Purchase Instructions.

1.Present the plan and progress on the development of each robot type using videos and other materials. For details, please refer to the “RoboMaster 2025 University Series Progress Assessment Criteria”.

2.The video clips to be submitted must contain the key visual of the 2025 season as the backdrop. Please stay tuned for the subsequent announcement about specific requirements.

Project Documents

Progress Report (updated)

1.Update the progress on robot building, perform closed-loop acceptance checks at key stages in the Season Plan, analyze the reasons, and update the subsequent plan accordingly.

2.Prepare the schedule for other tasks (such as site set-up, tool debugging, etc.) to be completed.

3.Update the manpower distribution plan (the number of people and time to be allocated for each module).

Project Analysis
